The PJC Construction Management Team:
About Phil Crout:
I moved to Colorado, arguably one of the most beautiful states in our country in 1993. I came west from my home state of NJ to attend the business school at the University of Colorado in Boulder, from which I graduated in 1997. After graduating from CU, I obtained my real estate license while working for a private real estate investor that owned and operated a large portfolio of apartment buildings. I was involved in various aspects of multi-family asset acquisition and disposition. Later, I moved on to work for a well respected commercial real estate firm in Denver. Eventually, I got involved in the commercial lending side of the business where I arranged financing for commercial real estate throughout the country. I got into construction back in 2006 while buying distressed properties and renovating them in order to resell them. Out of that experience, the introduction came to insurance claim related property restoration and what has become PJC Construction.
When I'm not working I am involved in two non-profit programs, Youthbiz and the Wounded Warrior Project. At Youthbiz I work with high school aged aspiring entrepreneurs helping them to create and actually build their own small businesses. I also love mountain biking and spending time with my friends and family.
